Where the buns are hot and the sauce is tangy. This slice of life short proves that escaping one’s problems is harder than it looks. And for the employees and customers of Paradise Burger, a day at this fast food joint quickly turns to hell-on-earth with a side of fries.

This short started as just a three-page scene to let my fingers type up some fun banter, but after a few revisions I had chiseled away at a complete narrative that felt unique and well-paced. With a seventeen-page final draft, I’m pretty pleased with the way this one turned out, and I’m hoping to use it in the near future to try my hand at directing.
